NEH Announces $43.1 Million for 218 Humanities Projects Nationwide

The Mastheads is awarded $87,600 for the implementation of a two-year community conversation and in-school programming series connecting local residents in the Pittsfield area to the literary and urban history of the Berkshires.


Mass Humanities Announces $177,000 in Grants

$3,500 is awarded to the City of Pittsfield Office of Cultural Development for “Class and Culture in the Gilded Age Berkshires,” a lecture and moderated discussion on the early lens of James Van Der Zee and the pen of W.E.B. Du Bois, part of The Mastheads’ 2019 season.
